My Bio
I am a beginner photographer with interests in "Street", "Realism", "Portrait", and "Wild Life". I work with a Nikon D40, Yashica-Mat EM, and Nikon FE.
I use manual lenses with my D40 and work in Manual Mode 98% of the time.

I enjoy watching the clouds, taking in every beautiful moment, being surrounded by nature, pondering great and small things, and watching the people that pass me by.

Along with photography I hope to become a decent writer, musician, and many other things someday. I love to learn!

I would have bought a film camera years ago if I thought I could afford the film, developing, scanning, and printing. When I had money of my own (currently jobless) film cameras were still kind of expensive and the only good digital cameras (SLR's) were outrageously priced. I also knew that photography could have a steep learning curve. And the cost of throw-away pictures is much cheaper with digital than it is film. Had it not been for my D40 and experimenting with it, I would have blown many pictures and not have known it until after development. That would have added up to an expensive waste. 15,000+ pictures to date taken since January

One of the many theories I have come across about alternative universes, time travel, etc is that on the opposite side of the universe there lives a negative version of yourself. My first question is: Is this on the opposite side of where the big bang occurred? If so, that means that there is a "place" where time and space is not only new but doesn't even exist. That also means that time continues forward there (in the opposite universe) in much the same way it does on this side of the universe. Which is really something to wrap your head around. But then they say that the you in the opposite universe is the exact negative of yourself. S

Since opinions greatly differ on what exactly qualifies as "Street Photography" I will explain what I consider it for myself. This way you can judge as to whether or not I meet the criteria that you have set for yourself. I like to think of "Street" as photographs of people: In public Non-portrait (or can be if -see next-) In which the photographer does not add to the scene in view Where the photographer does not draw attention to themselves The subject is unaware of the camera and/or the photographer That the subject is focused on themselves/surroundings/others and is not posing for the camera in any way Of course this is the perfect
